 Rev Dr Kuruvilla George is the present Vicar. He joined the parish in May 2006. He holds a B Sc degree from Kerala University, B D and M Th degrees from the Senate of Serampore College, India, and Th M in Communications degree from Asian Theological Seminary, Manila, Philippines. He earned his Ph D in the area of Theology and Communication from the University of Edinburgh in 1999. He has authored the book, From People's Theatre to People's Eucharist: the Drama of Christian Worship (Delhi: ISPCK, 2002).
Rev Kuruvilla who was ordained in 1970 has served as a pastor in rural and urban congregations. He has also served briefly as a missionary of the diocese in the CSI Parkal Mission field in Andhra Pradesh. India. He was a theological teacher for 22 years having served as lecturer and professor of New Testament and Communications, and finally as principal at the Kerala United Theological Seminary, Trivandrum. He was also Chairman, Federated Faculty for Research in Religion and Culture, Kottayam. Recently he was director and bursar of Bishop Moore Vidyapith, Mavelikara, which is a reputed higher secondary school. His wife, Sarah, is a retired high school teacher, they have one son and one daughter, both married. Rev Kuruvilla, apart from being the vicar of Christ Church, and chairman of Kodukulanji pastorate is also the chairman of the Kodukulanji district church council, which comprises of four pastorates.
